How To Defend Double Under Pass, And Counter back

Double Under Pass Counter

Mike Vicioustacion is a BJJ Black Belt in Maryland, USA with 11 years of experience, and trains under team Alliance. In this informative and technical video, he shows us how to defend one of the most common guard passes in BJJ – the double under pass.

The key element of this technique is to not let your opponent to stack you completely with his body on top of you, because in that phase it’s very hard to defend it.

The technique that Mike shows us in this video consists of defending one side with an under-armpit shoulder lock, preventing the pass and rotation of your opponent to one side. Then, from that position, you can also attack with kimura, or something else.
